Well, what a night!

We were proud to support one of our clients with a fundraising dinner, with a difference.

A conversation about our project with the management of one of our famous local restaurants led to this amazing event. Simon Rogan's Lake District restaurants offered a one off fundraising dinner in the school hall! This really was going to be a dinner with a difference !

We got to work and made the arrangements, crockery, glassware, tables, chairs, decorations, compere, music, lighting, bar, raffle, auction and so much more. It all had to be taken care of before the big day. The community was fantastic, local businesses did discounts and even offered their time / services for free.

We emptied the hall of its usually PE equipment, small tables, chairs and benches to make way for the new look hall!

To this - in 24 hours...

 

The hall looked amazing, the tickets had sold out, 70 guests arrived feeling jovial. The night went by so fast and we raised over £20,000 towards Phase 1 of 'Cartmel Primary goes wild'. This project aims to transform the school grounds into an exciting place where children can play, grow their own food and learn about nature.
